EXPERIENCED. CREATIVE EDITOR FOR FOODIES

FREELANCE FOOD CONTENT VIDEO EDITORS (2 PART-TIME) – Reels / TikTok / Facebook – START MONDAY

Fast-growing food culture media channel seeking 2 EXPERIENCED food content editors. We produce restaurant features, food reviews, chef spotlights, food truck features, product promos, and short commercials for the foodie community.

Positions start with a 30-day trial period. Part-time roles can grow to full-time within 30–60 days, with long-term permanent positions into 2027 for editors we love.

THE ROLE

• Edit 25–30 vertical videos per month (15 seconds to 1 minute max)
• Turnaround: 24–48 hours per video
• Create covers/thumbnails when needed
• Remote freelance position
• After 30 days, one editor will be promoted to LEAD EDITOR

FIRST 7 DAYS
You will edit a mix of video types, including a new foodie series. For this series, you will create the INTRO, OUTRO, and FONT/LETTERING style. This work will be crucial in our decision on who joins the team.

EVERY VIDEO MUST HAVE

• A scroll-stopping HOOK in the first 1–3 seconds (required)
• Fast pacing, mouthwatering food shots, clean sound, and bold captions
• Warm, appetizing color
• A clear call to action at the end
• Consistent brand fonts, colors, and caption style (we are relaunching our brand)

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience editing FOOD content (influencers, restaurants, food brands, or commercials)
• At least 6 food videos you edited in the LAST 90 DAYS (anything older will not be considered)
• Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Pro
• Strong knowledge of TikTok and Instagram trends
• Available to START MONDAY

PAY
$599.00 and up per month during the 30-day trial, based on how quickly you edit and deliver videos that meet our standards. All compensation is negotiable for an increase after 30 days.

HIRING PROCESS
Step 1 – Sample Edits: Edit our raw food clips into 3 short videos (15 or 30 seconds), due within 24 hours. Sample edits are unpaid unless we choose to keep and use them.
Step 2 – Phone Interview: Scheduled immediately.
