About the Role

U.S.-Based Digital Marketing Company | Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SOCIAL MEDIA OPERATOR — NOT JUST A POSTER

We are a growing U.S.-based digital marketing company looking for a creative, aggressive, organized, and technology-driven Social Media Manager who knows how to take control of social media accounts and keep them active, engaging, and professionally managed.

We are not looking for someone whose entire strategy is:

"Create a post → publish it → done."

Social media requires planning, consistency, creativity, research, testing, and constant attention.

We need someone who can plan content, create and publish posts, manage videos, monitor accounts, engage with audiences, analyze performance, and continuously look for ways to improve results.

YOUR MISSION

You will be responsible for helping manage and grow our social media presence across relevant platforms.

You should be comfortable working with platforms such as:

Facebook

Instagram

TikTok

YouTube

LinkedIn

X

Pinterest

Other relevant platforms as needed

You don't need to be an expert on every platform, but you should understand that each platform has a different audience, format, and content style.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Your responsibilities may include:

Managing multiple social media accounts

Building and maintaining content calendars

Planning weekly and monthly content

Creating and scheduling posts

Publishing images, carousels, reels, shorts, and videos

Writing captions and social media copy

Creating attention-grabbing hooks

Adding relevant hashtags and keywords

Repurposing existing content for different platforms

Finding content opportunities

Researching competitors and industry accounts

Monitoring social media trends

Identifying trending topics and formats

Maintaining consistent brand voice

Keeping profiles and pages updated

Monitoring comments and messages

Responding to routine engagement when authorized

Escalating important customer questions or issues

Tracking content performance

Preparing social media reports

Reviewing engagement and audience activity

Testing different content ideas

Suggesting improvements based on performance

Coordinating content requirements with the team

Maintaining organized content libraries

Managing publishing schedules

Ensuring posts are published correctly and on time

SHORT-FORM VIDEO IS IMPORTANT

You should understand the importance of video in modern social media.

You may be responsible for:

Creating short-form video content

Editing reels and short videos

Repurposing long videos into short clips

Adding captions/subtitles

Adding text overlays

Selecting hooks

Creating thumbnails or cover images

Formatting videos for different platforms

Finding suitable footage and visual assets

Creating multiple versions of content

Keeping videos aligned with the company's brand

Experience with tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe tools, or similar video-editing software is a strong advantage.

AI SKILLS ARE A MAJOR PLUS

We are a modern digital company, and we expect our Social Media Manager to know how to use AI intelligently.

Experience with tools such as:

ChatGPT

Claude

Google Gemini

Canva AI

CapCut AI

Adobe AI tools

AI image-generation tools

AI video tools

AI caption-writing tools

AI research tools

AI content-planning tools

Other emerging AI platforms

is highly valuable.

You should know how to use AI for things such as:

Brainstorming content ideas

Creating content variations

Developing hooks

Writing and improving captions

Researching topics

Repurposing content

Generating content concepts

Creating scripts

Improving workflows

Analyzing content ideas

Saving time on repetitive tasks

We don't want someone who simply knows how to type a prompt.

We want someone who understands how to combine AI with creativity and human judgment to produce better content faster.

CONTENT STRATEGY

You should be able to think beyond individual posts.

We expect you to understand:

Content pillars

Audience targeting

Brand positioning

Engagement

Reach

Retention

Hooks

Calls to action

Content consistency

Platform-specific content

Short-form video strategy

Content repurposing

Basic social media analytics

You should be able to look at an account and identify:

What is working?

What is not working?

What should we test next?

TREND RESEARCH

Social media moves quickly.

You should regularly monitor:

Trending content formats

Popular video styles

Emerging topics

Relevant hashtags

Competitor activity

New platform features

Changes in audience behavior

Content styles gaining traction

We don't want to discover a trend three months after everyone else has already moved on.

If you see a relevant opportunity, bring it to the team.

COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT

Social media isn't a billboard.

You should monitor:

Comments

Messages

Mentions

Engagement

Questions

Customer feedback

You may respond to routine interactions according to company guidelines and escalate anything that requires management attention.

Professional communication is required.

ANALYTICS & REPORTING

Posting content is only half the job.

You should monitor performance metrics such as:

Reach

Impressions

Engagement

Views

Watch time

Clicks

Followers

Audience activity

Content performance

You should be able to identify patterns and provide useful observations.

We don't need complicated reports filled with meaningless numbers.

We need to know:

What happened?

Why did it happen?

What should we do next?

WE EXPECT OWNERSHIP

We are not hiring someone to wait for a manager to provide 30 individual instructions every morning.

If the content calendar is empty, you should notice.

If a scheduled post has an issue, you should catch it.

If a video needs a better hook, you should suggest one.

If a platform is changing, you should be aware of it.

If a piece of content performs unusually well, you should investigate why.

We expect you to think, execute, monitor, and improve.

THE PERSON WE WANT

You should be:

Creative

Highly organized

Detail-oriented

Fast-moving

Proactive

Comfortable with technology

Strong in written English

Comfortable creating content

Comfortable with short-form video

Familiar with social media trends

Comfortable using AI tools

Able to manage multiple platforms

Able to work independently

Willing to test new ideas

Comfortable analyzing performance

Serious about deadlines

DO NOT APPLY IF...

This position is probably not for you if:

You only know how to schedule posts

You need someone to provide every content idea

You don't follow social media trends

You are uncomfortable with video

You don't want to learn AI tools

You rarely check account performance

You struggle to manage multiple platforms

You wait for instructions instead of taking action

You don't pay attention to details

You are looking for a passive position

We need someone who wants to own the work and make things happen.
