QA Engineer - Guardis
Confidential employer
About Guardis
Guardis is a multi-chain trading and intelligence platform supporting Solana and Robinhood Chain. We process on-chain data in real time to surface smart-money flows, flag rugs and fraud before they hit traders, and deliver live analytics through our app and an enterprise API used by other businesses.
When our data is wrong or late, people lose money. That makes quality a core product feature, not an afterthought.
The role
We're growing our QA team and hiring a second QA Engineer. You'll work alongside our existing QA engineer to expand test coverage as the product scales across chains, strengthen our automation, and raise the bar on data correctness. You'll own significant areas of the product end to end and have a real say in how we test and release.
What you'll do
Own testing for major product areas, with a particular focus on our multi-chain expansion
Test our enterprise REST API for correctness, reliability, performance and error handling across both Solana and Robinhood Chain data
Verify that the data we serve is actually right, by reconciling it against on-chain sources and building checks that catch drift
Test that features behave consistently across chains, while catching chain-specific differences in transactions, wallets, tokens and data formats
Test real-time features delivered over WebSockets, including live price feeds, reconnection behaviour, and performance on mobile networks
Extend and maintain our automated test suites for web, mobile and API, and keep them fast and reliable in CI/CD
Add quality checks to our data pipelines so problems are caught before users see them
Test campaign features such as leaderboards, quests and referral tracking, including thinking like someone trying to game them
Run load and performance testing ahead of major launches
Work with engineers and the wider QA team to reproduce, triage and prioritise issues, and push back clearly when something isn't ready
What we're looking for
3+ years in QA or test engineering, with meaningful hands-on automation experience
Strong API testing skills, with experience in tools like Postman, pytest, or similar
Experience with a modern automation framework such as Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Detox or Maestro
Comfort writing test code in Python, TypeScript or JavaScript
An understanding of how to test data-heavy or real-time systems where the "correct" answer changes constantly
Solid SQL skills, enough to query and validate data independently
A risk-based mindset: you prioritise what matters to users rather than aiming for 100% coverage of everything
Clear, direct communication and the confidence to hold your ground on quality
Nice to have
Experience in crypto, DeFi, trading, fintech or payments
Familiarity with Solana and/or EVM chains, particularly Ethereum L2s or the Arbitrum ecosystem
Experience testing products that support multiple blockchains
Familiarity with wallets, on-chain data and block explorers
Experience testing WebSocket or streaming systems
Load testing experience with k6, Locust or similar
Exposure to analytical databases such as ClickHouse or TimescaleDB
Why join
Ownership of real product areas in a growing QA team, with room to shape how we work as we scale
Hard, interesting problems at the intersection of real-time data, finance, security and multi-chain infrastructure
A small, fast-moving team where your work ships quickly and matters visibly.
