Remote Interior Designer – New House

We are looking for a talented and creative remote interior designer to help us design the interior of our new house in Sydney, Australia.

The house is new, so we are looking for someone who can help create a complete, consistent look throughout the home, rather than designing one room at a time with no connection between spaces.

What We Need

We need help with:

• Overall interior style and colour palette
• Furniture selection and placement
• Living, dining and bedroom design
• Kitchen styling and finishes
• Bathrooms
• Lighting selection and placement
• Curtains, blinds and window treatments
• Rugs, artwork, mirrors and accessories
• Built-in cabinetry and storage ideas
• Feature walls and finishes
• Mood boards for each area
• 2D floor plans and furniture layouts
• Realistic 3D renders so we can clearly see the finished design before buying
• Product recommendations that we can purchase in Australia
• Links or details for furniture, lighting and décor where possible

How We Would Like to Work

The work will be completely remote. We can provide house plans, measurements, photos, videos and inspiration images.

We want someone who can take our ideas and turn them into a beautiful, practical home. We are happy to consider new ideas, but the design also needs to suit how we actually live.

We prefer a designer who can work through the house room by room, while keeping one clear style across the entire property.

Who We Are Looking For

You should have:

• Strong residential interior design experience
• Excellent taste and attention to detail
• Experience designing complete homes
• Strong 3D rendering skills
• Good knowledge of furniture, lighting, materials and finishes
• Clear communication
• Ability to work remotely from architectural plans and measurements
• Ability to work within a budget rather than simply choosing expensive products
