Operation Specialist - Trucking Tracker

Role: Trucking Tracker
Shift: 9am - 6pm PST (12:00AM - 9:00AM PHT)
Type: Full Time, Remote
Experience: 3+ yrs experience in Trucking or 3PL Industry

Key Responsibilities:
-Track trucks in real time using GPS, TMS, or fleet-management systems.
-Monitor pickup and delivery status and ensure trucks are on schedule.
-Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, brokers, warehouses, and customers.
-Provide regular shipment updates to customers or internal teams.
-Identify and report delays, breakdowns, missed appointments, route deviations, or unexpected stops.
-Follow up with drivers when GPS/status information is unclear or outdated.
-Update TMS, spreadsheets, or tracking systems with accurate shipment information.
-Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to resolve delivery issues.
-Maintain records of arrival times, departure times, ETAs, PODs, and delivery status.
-Escalate urgent issues to the appropriate operations or management team.
-Help ensure that OTIF (on-time, in-full) delivery targets are met.
-Prepare daily or weekly tracking and performance reports.

Qualifications:
-At least 2–3 years of experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, or customer service (preferably in a logistics or transportation company).
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
-Tech-savvy and comfortable using logistics platforms, spreadsheets, and communication tools.
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data entry, reporting, and basic analysis).
-Ability to work independently and manage time effectively under pressure.
