About the Role

Location: Remote
Company: STOR Power

STOR Power is a California-based residential solar and battery installation company seeking an experienced solar professional to manage internal communication between our sales representatives and operations team.

We need someone with extensive solar industry knowledge, excellent written and spoken English, and strong follow-through. We will train you on our CRM and internal processes. You should already understand how residential solar projects move from a signed agreement through installation and permission to operate.

About the Role

You will be the primary point of contact for sales representatives requesting project updates.

When a representative asks about a project, you will review our CRM, check project notes and milestones, and provide a clear, accurate response. When additional information is needed, you will coordinate with the appropriate operations team member, obtain the answer, and follow up with the representative.

Your job is to keep sales representatives informed, organize incoming questions, and allow operations to stay focused on moving projects forward.

Responsibilities

  • Respond professionally to sales representatives’ project questions through internal messages, email , and occasional calls.
  • Learn our CRM and confidently locate project statuses, notes, documents, outstanding requirements, and next steps.
  • Explain updates involving site surveys, design, permitting, utility interconnection, installation, inspections, and permission to operate.
  • Identify what is holding up a project, what needs to happen next, and which team member can help.
  • Gather and organize questions for operations when the CRM does not contain a complete answer.
  • Track open requests and follow up until each question is answered.
  • Document confirmed updates in the CRM so information remains accurate and accessible.
  • Proactively communicate important changes and delays to the appropriate sales representatives.
  • Clearly distinguish confirmed dates from estimates and avoid making unsupported promises.

Required Qualifications

  • Substantial experience supporting residential solar projects, preferably for a U.S. solar company.
  • Strong understanding of the solar project lifecycle and common reasons projects experience delays.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to explain project details clearly and professionally.
  • Experience using a CRM or project management system.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple conversations and follow-ups.
  • Confidence asking focused questions and working with different departments.
  • Reliable internet, a dependable computer, and a suitable workspace.

Experience with California solar projects, battery storage, Tesla Powerwall, and solar financing milestones is a plus.

What Success Looks Like

Sales representatives receive timely, accurate answers. Outstanding questions are tracked and resolved. Operations receives organized requests with the relevant context. Project updates are easy to understand and clearly identify the next step.

How to Apply

Please include:

1. Your résumé and a summary of your solar industry experience, including the project stages you have supported and the CRM systems you have used.
2. A brief voice recording introducing yourself and explaining your solar background.
3. Your expected monthly compensation and availability, including working hours in U.S. Pacific Time.
4. A written response to this scenario:

“A sales representative asks when their customer will receive permission to operate. The CRM shows installation is complete, final inspection is pending, and no inspection date is confirmed. What would you tell the representative, and what would you do next?”

Strong solar knowledge and clear English communication are essential for this position.
