Experienced WordPress Web Developer/UX Designer
Confidential employer
I am looking for an experienced WordPress Web Developer/Designer to redesign and modernize an existing, outdated WordPress website.
The current website has an older design and was not originally built using modern SEO and web-development best practices. In fact, it needs a complete overhaul. I am looking for someone who can create a modern, professional, fast, mobile-friendly website while preserving the existing site's valuable content and SEO equity.
This role requires more than simply installing a new WordPress theme. The ideal candidate should understand UX, wireframing, website design, WordPress development, technical SEO, website performance, security, and website migration.
Qualifications Required
- Demonstrated experience developing WordPress websites.
- Strong understanding of modern WordPress development.
- Experience with responsive/mobile-first development.
- Experience with UX/UI design.
- Experience creating website wireframes.
- Experience creating website design mockups.
- Experience implementing Google Analytics/GA4 & Google Search Console tracking code.
This is a gig project, but may turn into a longer term role for maintenance and help with other needs. Salary & Desired Hours are negotiable - Prefer paying a project based fee.
