LANDSCAPING & HARDSCAPING (2D CAD DRAFTER)

🕘 Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST

We’re looking for an experienced 2D CAD Drafter with 5+ years of extensive exterior drafting experience, specifically in landscaping, hardscaping, and outdoor living projects.

⚠️ A relevant CAD portfolio is required to be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 2D CAD drawings from site measurements, sketches, photos, and design concepts
• Prepare landscape plans, hardscape layouts, planting plans, irrigation plans, and construction details
• Draft detailed plans for patios, pavers, walkways, driveways, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, pools, decks, and other outdoor living features
• Add accurate dimensions, elevations, notes, callouts, and material specifications
• Revise drawings based on designer/project manager feedback
• Assist with quantity takeoffs and measurements
• Maintain organized CAD files, layers, templates, and version control

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of 2D CAD drafting experience with a strong focus on exterior projects
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or similar 2D drafting software
• Extensive experience with landscaping, hardscaping, outdoor living, construction, or exterior site plans
• Strong understanding of dimensions, scales, layers, line weights, and construction drawings
• Ability to interpret site measurements, sketches, markups, and design concepts
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good written and verbal English communication

📁 Your Portfolio Should Demonstrate Experience With:

Landscape plans
Hardscape layouts
Paver/patio detailing
Retaining wall layouts
Planting plans
Irrigation plans
Landscape construction details
Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar takeoff work

⭐ Experience drafting patios, walkways, driveways, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, pools, decks, and other outdoor living projects is strongly preferred.
