Full-Time WordPress & Email Marketing Assistant (Elementor, Mailchimp), Long-Term

About the role
We're an online education company serving K-12 teachers. Our WordPress site has hundreds of articles, and we send regular email campaigns to a large subscriber list. We need a careful, reliable full-time assistant to keep the site updated and well linked, and to run our email sends. This is a long-term role for someone who follows written processes precisely.

What you'll do

Insert internal links into published articles using the WordPress editor and Elementor, following a written link map
Update article titles and SEO meta titles and descriptions using our checklist
Format and upload finished articles: headings, images, alt text, categories
Make light copy edits from written instructions
Build, schedule, and send weekly email campaigns in Mailchimp from provided content, with UTM tracking on every link
Send test email s and proofread before each send
Pull basic campaign reports (opens, clicks, unsubscribes) into a shared tracker each week
Log all completed work in a shared tracker and send a short end-of-day update

What we're looking for

Hands-on WordPress and Elementor experience (please share examples)
Mailchimp experience: building campaigns, scheduling, and reading reports
Basic HTML: can add links, headings, and lists in code view and spot broken markup
Strong attention to detail, and able to follow step-by-step checklists exactly
Clear written English, and willing to ask questions rather than guess
Reliable computer and internet connection
Bonus: All in One SEO or Yoast, Notion, Google Analytics

Details

Full-time, 40 hours per week
Pay: $700-$900 per month, based on experience
Overlap: 2-3 hours per day with U.S. Mountain Time. The remaining hours are flexible.
Paid test task first: top candidates will insert links into 10 articles as drafts, fix a small HTML issue, and build one email in Mailchimp. We review before anything goes live.
You'll work with limited access as an editor, not an administrator
