IMPORTANT APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Put the words “BALANCE SHEET” on the first line of your application.
Then answer:
How many years of professional bookkeeping experience do you have?
How many years have you worked with U.S.-based companies?
How many years of QuickBooks Online experience do you have?
Have you completed catch-up or cleanup bookkeeping projects?
Have you managed bookkeeping for multiple companies or entities?
Do you have real estate, investment-company, private-equity or fund-accounting experience?
What accounting degree or certifications do you have?
What is your requested hourly rate?
How many hours per week are you currently available?
When can you start?
Finally, answer this accounting question:
You see a $25,000 deposit into a company's bank account. You cannot determine whether it is revenue, investor capital, an owner contribution, a loan, or a transfer from another company account. What exactly would you do before recording the transaction?
Candidates who advance will complete short job-related accounting exercises. Finalists will complete a paid practical bookkeeping assignment using fictional financial records.
