Social Media Reels Editor – Short-Form Content

RAYIS Weddings is looking for a creative and talented Social Media Reels Editor to join our team!

We’re a wedding photography and filmmaking studio, and we’re looking for someone who can help us turn our beautiful wedding footage into engaging, creative, and scroll-stopping short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.

This role is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys creating short-form content and understands that a great Reel is about more than just putting clips together, it’s about storytelling, emotion, pacing, music, and creativity.

What You’ll Do

• Edit short-form wedding Reels, TikToks, and Shorts
• Turn wedding footage into engaging and creative social content
• Select clips, music, pacing, transitions, and storytelling
• Create strong hooks that capture attention
• Add captions, text, and graphics when needed
• Keep up with current social media trends
• Bring your own creative ideas and editing style to our content

Creativity is one of the most important things we're looking for in this role. We don't want someone who simply follows a template and puts clips together. We want someone who can look at a collection of footage and think: “How can I turn this into something people will actually want to watch?”

Someone with a strong creative eye, a great sense of storytelling, pacing, and music, and a good understanding of what makes social content engaging, while staying current with trends and bringing fresh ideas to the table.

Experience & Skills

• Previous experience editing short-form content
• Strong knowledge of Instagram Reels, TikTok, and/or YouTube Shorts
• Experience with video editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar
• Strong understanding of pacing, music, transitions, colour, and storytelling
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions
• Good communication skills

We’d love someone with experience in wedding, cinematic, luxury, or creative content, along with a strong understanding of social media trends, high-performing Reels, and ideally motion graphics or animation.
