We are currently redesigning and modernizing our Shopify website and are looking for a talented Figma Designer / Shopify UI/UX Designer who can help us create a modern, professional, user-friendly, and conversion-focused e-commerce experience.

Job Overview

We are looking for someone with strong Figma and UI/UX design skills and experience designing Shopify e-commerce websites.

The project will involve working closely with our team and Shopify development team to translate our ideas, requirements, and existing mockups into polished Figma designs that can be effectively implemented in Shopify.

This is a project-based position, with the possibility of additional design work or future projects if the collaboration is successful.

Key Responsibilities
∙ Create and refine Figma designs for our Shopify website redesign.
∙ Develop modern, clean, professional, and responsive UI designs.
∙ Design desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts.
∙ Improve website navigation, product discovery, and overall user experience.
∙ Design key Shopify pages, including:

• Homepage
• Collection/category pages
• Product pages
• Search results
• Cart
• Promotional/landing pages
• Other supporting pages

∙ Create user-friendly product filtering, navigation, and category structures.
∙ Apply UI/UX best practices for e-commerce and conversion optimization.
∙ Review our existing website and identify opportunities to improve usability and visual presentation.
∙ Work from our existing mockups and design direction while bringing your own professional UI/UX expertise.
∙ Prepare organized Figma files, components, styles, and design specifications for Shopify developers.
∙ Collaborate with our Shopify development team to ensure the final implementation matches the approved designs.
∙ Make design revisions based on feedback from our team.
∙ Maintain consistency in typography, spacing, colors, buttons, forms, icons, and other UI elements.
∙ Ensure designs are practical and scalable for a large Shopify product catalog.

Requirements
∙ Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, Figma Designer, or Web Designer.
∙ Strong proficiency in Figma.
∙ Hands-on experience designing Shopify websites.
∙ Strong understanding of e-commerce UI/UX.
∙ Experience designing responsive websites for desktop and mobile.
∙ Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and user-centered design.
∙ Ability to create clean, modern, professional, and easy-to-use interfaces.
∙ Strong attention to detail.
∙ Good understanding of typography, spacing, visual hierarchy, and design systems.
∙ Ability to communicate clearly in English.
∙ Ability to take direction and incorporate feedback quickly.
∙ Ability to work independently and meet agreed project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with any of the following is a strong advantage:
∙ Shopify 2.0 / Online Store 2.0
∙ Large e-commerce websites
∙ Product-heavy Shopify stores
∙ Shopify collection and filtering UX
∙ Custom product builders or configurators
∙ B2B e-commerce
∙ CRO and e-commerce optimization
∙ Creating reusable Figma components and design systems
∙ Working directly with Shopify developers

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a designer who can do more than simply create attractive designs. The ideal candidate understands how design affects usability, customer experience, and conversions.

You should be able to look at an existing Shopify website and identify areas where the layout, navigation, product presentation, and overall customer journey can be improved.

You should also be comfortable collaborating with developers and making sure your Figma designs are realistic and practical to implement.
