Email Marketing Assistant (Full-Time, Remote)
Hours: Full-Time | 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM EST | Monday to Friday
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-driven Email Marketing Assistant to join a small but busy marketing team. This role is focused on email and SMS campaign execution — building campaigns end to end, keeping things on schedule, and making sure everything goes out clean.
You'll handle campaigns from brief to send while your manager provides the strategy, the calendar, and the creative direction, along with direct training and ongoing support. As you get comfortable, you'll also take on social media content for the agency's own channels.
This is a small team, so the work is real and the impact is immediate.
What You'll Do
Email & SMS Campaign Execution (main focus)
Take weekly campaigns from brief to send — design the email , write the copy, build it in Klaviyo, add links, and create the segments
Produce on-brand email and SMS creative using provided assets and creative direction
Build new templates where none exist yet
Send tests and check every campaign before deployment — links, rendering, segments, and send times
Apply feedback quickly and accurately, often on short turnarounds tied to event dates
Set up and test automation flows including welcome series and multi-touch sequences
Reporting & Recommendations
Pull opens, clicks, and ticket sales after each send
Flag what's working and what isn't, and suggest what to run next
Look for ways to make campaigns and designs stronger over time
Calendar & Project Management
Work from the campaign calendar and build ahead rather than waiting for assignments
Track open items so nothing tied to an event date gets missed
Keep your manager informed on progress, blockers, and anything at risk before it becomes a problem
Social & Content Support
Edit existing assets into carousels, reels, and graphics for the agency's own channels as workload allows
Assist with influencer outreach lists, tracking, and asset coordination during active campaign periods
What We're Looking For
Hands-on experience with Klaviyo or a comparable email platform — you should be able to jump in and build, not learn from scratch
Background in email marketing, CRM, or digital marketing is preferred
Experience with music, live events, nightlife, or entertainment brands is a plus
Confident with design tools — Figma or Photoshop preferred, Canva acceptable for social assets
Familiarity with Hive is a bonus but not expected
Comfortable with Slack and Google Workspace
Strong eye for design — able to produce polished, on-brand creative from a brief without heavy direction
Meticulous about the details that make or break a send — this is the most important quality for this role
Proactive, not reactive: deliverables should be ready before your manager has to ask
Honest about mistakes and blockers — no surprises
Able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines at once without dropping commitments
Consistently present and reachable during working hours
What We Offer
Full-time, long-term role
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Paid U.S. holiday leaves
Medical stipend after 3 months
Opportunity to grow into expanded responsibility over time
Clear opportunities for growth and professional development
Collaborative, supportive, and people-first work environment
Please submit your updated CV and portfolio to apply. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
