Medical Biller

Hello,

I am looking for an experienced Virtual Medical Biller to assist with the weekly billing for several medical providers.

Our providers currently use Office Ally for most billing, and we also submit some New York Medicaid claims directly through the eMedNY/ePACES website.

The person I hire must be comfortable independently managing the weekly billing cycle and following up on outstanding claims.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Submit weekly claims through Office Ally
• Submit Medicaid/ePACES claims each week, with Medicaid billing completed no later than Tuesday
• Post payments and ERAs
• Review rejected and denied claims
• Correct and resubmit claims when necessary
• Call insurance companies to follow up on denials, unpaid claims, and claim status
• Work outstanding accounts receivable and follow up until claims are resolved
• Communicate with providers by email when documentation, corrections, or additional information is needed
• CC me on all provider email communications
• Keep clear notes regarding claim follow-up and outstanding issues
• Provide a weekly update showing claims submitted, payments posted, denials worked, and unresolved items

I am specifically looking for someone who has prior medical billing experience and is comfortable working with insurance companies independently.

Experience with Office Ally is strongly preferred. Experience with New York Medicaid, eMedNY, and ePACES is also highly preferred.
