3D Product Designer for 3D Printing

Nut Dreamers and its affiliate companies are looking for a talented 3D Product Designer to help create product concepts, prototypes, and production-ready designs for 3D printing. This role is ideal for someone who understands both design and functionality, and can turn ideas into accurate, printable 3D models.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D product designs based on our ideas, sketches, references, or brand guidelines.
• Design products that are functional, clean, and ready for 3D printing.
• Prepare files for prototyping and manufacturing.
• Make revisions based on feedback and testing.
• Create realistic 3D renders for review, presentations, and product development.
• Help improve product shape, usability, dimensions, and overall appearance.
• Organize and deliver final source files properly.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with 3D product design.
• Experience designing for 3D printing and prototyping.
• Proficiency in software such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Blender, Rhino, or similar.
• Strong understanding of measurements, tolerances, materials, and print limitations.
• Ability to create clean, accurate, and editable 3D files.
• Good communication and attention to detail.

Deliverables

Final files should include:

• STL
• STEP
• OBJ
• 3MF, when applicable
• High-resolution renders
• Editable source files

We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of product design from concept to printable file. The ideal candidate is creative, technical, detail-oriented, and able to design products that look premium while still being practical to produce.

30-Day Probation Period

This position includes a 30-day probation period to evaluate design quality, communication, turnaround time, and overall fit. Successful completion may lead to a long-term working relationship with Nut Dreamers and its affiliate companies.
