Grok Bot Development Lead (Part-Time, 20 hours per week)
Confidential employer
About the opportunity
We are a growing US-based business training and media company, and we are looking for a skilled Grok Bot Development Lead. This role owns the AI bot system that finds, scores, and opens conversations with community and event owners so our team can interview them. The bots find and open. People still make the calls, run the interviews, and teach. You build and run the machine that feeds them.
What you will do
Build and maintain two Grok Bots in a dedicated internal workspace: a Researcher that finds, scores, and tracks prospects, and an Opener that drafts and, after human approval, sends email and LinkedIn messages. Neither bot ever phones or joins a video call.
Write and maintain the standing orders for each bot, including explicit guard rules covering what each bot must never do, and fail any draft that breaks them.
Enrich and score one assigned prospect group from a targeting blueprint, capturing name, title, organization, email , LinkedIn, phone where available, latest public topic, a verbatim public quote, warm relationship flag, decision maker plus up to two lieutenants, and the events contact. Score zero to five against a published rubric and release only the top tier, roughly twenty organizations for the live test rather than two hundred.
Keep every contact's pipeline stage current in GoHighLevel, from first request through called, booked, interviewed, and closed states. GoHighLevel is the only source of truth. No side spreadsheet.
Wire the GoHighLevel intake form and the group-labeled calendar link so the booking, the prep fields, and the status card all agree, then test the whole flow yourself as a prospect would experience it.
Hold send discipline: daily caps per channel, staggered email and LinkedIn to the same person, one follow-up and then stop, and an immediate channel freeze plus supervisor alert if bounces or platform warnings spike.
Queue drafts for supervisor approval before sending, log subject, body variant, channel, and result, and bring a weekly short list of which copy to keep and which to retire.
Produce the one-page pre-interview brief the same day a slot books, and send a nightly written note to the supervisor covering asks, replies, bookings, no-shows, and next actions.
Schedule and setup
Hours: 20 hours per week
Working hours: the business operates 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Pacific time. You choose which 20 hours you work inside that window, and you keep the same schedule week to week so the supervisor knows when to expect you. For applicants in the Philippines this is a night shift, roughly 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM Manila time
Setup: reliable internet and a dedicated computer for the bot workspace. The approved sending Gmail and an approved test LinkedIn profile are provided. Personal accounts are never used for outreach
Must-have skills and tools
Hands-on experience building and operating AI agents or bots: standing orders, group chats, send queues, connected email accounts, guard rules
GoHighLevel: pipelines, stages, forms, calendars, contact records
List enrichment and prospect scoring against a written rubric
Writing instructions precise enough for a bot to obey, with a clear line between what it does and what it must not do
Email and LinkedIn deliverability fundamentals: sending caps, staggering, follow-up limits, and when to freeze a channel
Ability to follow a tight build brief without redesigning the project
Escalates in writing with a proposed option the same day, not with a verbal debug dump
Strong written English
Nice to have
Direct experience inside Grok Bot workspaces
Gmail deliverability and domain warm-up experience
Experience supporting interview, podcast, or speaker booking outreach
Compensation
USD 500 per month for 20 hours per week.
