CREATIVE CONTENT STRATEGIST (YOUTUBE & AI) – GAMING EXPERT IN TRAINING
Confidential employer
ABOUT THE ROLE
I am NOT looking for a Virtual Assistant.
I am looking for a Creative Content Strategist who will progressively take over my YouTube creative workflow, so I can focus on higher-value strategy and growth.
This role is for someone smart, curious, AI-native, and genuinely interested in gaming and technology — someone who enjoys learning complex niches and becoming very good at them.
The niche is SIM RACING (racing simulators, hardware, PS5/PC compatibility, product reviews).
This is a part-time role (20 hours per week) with a long-term perspective and potential to grow as the channel scales.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Content & Niche Mastery (Core Responsibility)
- Learn the Sim Racing ecosystem (brands, hardware, compatibility, trends)
- Watch and analyze top Sim Racing creators (Boosted Media, Jimmy Broadbent, Dan Suzuki, etc.)
- Understand WHY certain videos perform well
- Suggest video ideas based on real audience interest
You do NOT need to be an expert on Day 1.
You DO need to enjoy learning technical topics deeply.
AI-Assisted Scriptwriting
- Use advanced AI models (access provided)
- Generate scripts with AI
Rewrite them to:
- sound human
- be technically accurate
- have strong hooks and retention
Apply copywriting and storytelling principles
Thumbnail Strategy (Execution or Direction)
Generate thumbnail concepts using AI
Either:
- do light Photoshop edits yourself
- OR write very clear instructions for a professional thumbnail designer
Understand YouTube CTR logic (contrast, clarity, simplicity)
Team Communication
- Communicate clearly with editors and designers
- Anticipate problems instead of reacting to them
- Ask smart questions only when necessary
TOOLS & WORKFLOW
- AI access provided (OpenRouter – multiple models)
- Image generation access provided
- No paid subscriptions required on your side (ChatGPT Plus is a plus)
- You will be trained on my exact workflow
WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR
You are:
- Passionate about gaming and tech
- Comfortable learning by yourself
- Very good at thinking, not just executing
- Curious, analytical, detail-oriented
- Able to explain complex things simply
- Comfortable using AI as a tool, not a crutch
You are NOT:
- A passive VA waiting for instructions
- Someone who copy-pastes AI output
- Someone who avoids learning technical subjects
HOW TO APPLY – READ CAREFULLY
Applications that do NOT follow ALL steps below will be ignored.
STEP 1 – KEYWORD FILTER
Start your application with this word:
CES
STEP 2 – VIDEO INTRODUCTION (MANDATORY)
Attach a 2–3 minute video (Loom, Google Drive, or unlisted YouTube).
In the video, answer ALL of the following:
- Who are you?
- What games or tech topics do you enjoy?
- Tell me about ONE project (YouTube, content, gaming, AI, or similar) where you had real responsibility, and what YOU personally handled
- A time when you had to learn something complex quickly
- Why you believe you are a strong candidate for this role
- Why I can trust you with my YouTube channel’s creative work
Be natural. Do NOT read a script.
STEP 3 – THINKING & ANALYSIS TEST
- Find a Sim Racing YouTube video with 200k+ views
- Share the link
- Answer briefly:
Why the HOOK works
Why the THUMBNAIL makes people click
STEP 4 – RESEARCH, COPY & STRATEGY TEST
A. REAL-TIME RESEARCH (CES 2026)
The CES 2026 is happening RIGHT NOW.
Find ONE new Sim Racing product announced THIS WEEK.
Include:
- Product name and brand
- Source link (official post, press release, or reputable media)
- One key spec or feature (verifiable)
- Why it matters for sim racers (2–3 sentences)
- One risk or unknown (price, compatibility, availability, etc.)
B. COPYWRITING
Write a 3-sentence hook for this video title:
Best F1 Wheels for PS5 in 2026 (Don’t Buy the Wrong One)
Guidelines:
- Assume the viewer already knows what sim racing is
- Focus on decision-making, not definitions
- Include a clear promise and a subtle warning
- Must sound human (no generic AI tone)
C. PROMPTING / CREATIVE DIRECTION
Provide a detailed prompt or set of instructions you would give to:
an AI image generator OR a professional thumbnail designer
For a video titled:
Best F1 Wheels for PS5 in 2026
Your instructions should clearly explain:
- the main visual idea
- the emotion you want the viewer to feel
- the key elements to include or avoid
- how the thumbnail should communicate comparison and PS5 relevance
- common visual mistakes to avoid (wrong wheel shapes, clutter, confusion, etc.)
D. VIDEO IDEA – PERFORMANCE THINKING
Propose ONE video idea that you genuinely believe could perform very well.
Include:
- Working title
- Target audience (who exactly is this for?)
- Why this video would get clicks (CTR logic)
- Why people would keep watching (retention logic)
Quality of reasoning matters more than originality.
