ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for an organized, dependable Virtual Assistant to support a growing U.S.-based company specializing in Biblical travel and group tours.

This is a long-term opportunity to work closely with a business owner who creates meaningful travel experiences and needs help bringing those tours to a wider audience.

The role combines administrative support, tour coordination, marketing assistance, and outreach to churches and pastors.

We're hoping to find one person who can handle as much of the role as possible. Some specialized marketing projects may be handled by outside professionals, so you won't be expected to be an expert in everything.

THIS ROLE COULD BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:

  • Enjoy keeping projects organized and making sure details don't fall through the cracks.
  • Have strong administrative skills and can work independently.
  • Are comfortable learning new software and systems.
  • Have experience with, or an aptitude for, social media and online marketing.
  • Communicate professionally and confidently in English.
  • Enjoy coordinating with different people to get things done.
  • Understand and respect the company's Christian mission and Biblical values.
  • Are interested in a long-term opportunity with room to grow.

Previous experience in the travel or tour industry is a strong plus! Experience with group tours, travel booking systems, or tour administration would be particularly valuable but is not required.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Provide administrative and clerical support, organize tour information, and learn the company's travel software.
  • Coordinate with the website provider to publish new tours and distribute promotional materials across online platforms.
  • Help maintain the company's social media presence and coordinate with outside marketing professionals when needed.
  • Research speaking opportunities with churches and pastors, assist with outreach, and track follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with the business owner and other service providers to keep projects moving.
  • Potentially assist with tour payment processing, depending on how responsibilities are divided.

SCHEDULE & GROWTH

The position will begin at approximately 10–12 hours per week, with the potential to grow to 20–30 hours and eventually full-time as the business grows. Additional hours are not guaranteed.

Some availability during daytime Pacific Time hours is required, although not all working hours need to overlap.

HOW TO APPLY — FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS

Include the exact phrase "Biblical Travel VA" in your application subject line.

STEP 2: SUBMIT YOUR INFORMATION

Include ALL of the following:

  • Your résumé or a summary of your relevant work experience.

  • Your expected hourly rate in USD.
  • Your availability, including your ability to overlap with daytime Pacific Time hours.

STEP 3: VIDEO INTRODUCTION (REQUIRED)

Provide a link to a short video introduction, approximately 2–3 minutes, answering these questions:

1. What experience makes you a good fit for this position?
2. When you're given several tasks with different deadlines, how do you organize your work and make sure nothing gets overlooked?
