Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager
Confidential employer
Project Overview
Atsap is a Pittsburgh-based creative and technology company with two distinct but complementary sides: a client-facing consulting practice and an internal venture studio.
Whether you're a startup that needs a first product or an established business that needs a strategic partner, we bring the same craft and dedication to every engagement — regardless of how small the concept or idea.
Our company operates on an innovative, agile "pod" structure. Each pod is a self-contained digital media and technology team capable of executing projects across software development, video production, and marketing.
We are looking for a highly versatile Social Media Graphic Creator & Channel Manager to join our team. In this role, you won't just design the visuals; you will also be responsible for scheduling, managing, and publishing content across multiple social platforms (including Instagram, Facebook , TikTok, and LinkedIn). You will handle this end-to-end creative workflow for both our diverse client accounts and our own internal Atsap company accounts.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a designer who loves variety, excels at shifting between distinct brand guidelines, wants hands-on social media management experience, and is looking for ongoing, part-time work.
Scope of Work & Deliverables
As our Social Media Designer & Manager, you will tackle a wide array of creative assets and scheduling tasks, including but not limited to:
Social Media Publishing & Scheduling: Actively queue, format, caption, and publish completed visual assets directly to platforms like Instagram, Facebook , TikTok, and LinkedIn using publishing dashboards (Metricool, Later, Buffer) or native schedulers.
Digital & Social Media Graphics: Create eye-catching static feed posts, stories, headers, and carousels customized for different target audiences.
Print & Marketing Collateral: Design professional print assets like flyers, physical mailers, tri-fold brochures, large-scale billboard graphics, and other digital assets as needed / requested.
Merchandise & Apparel: Craft clean, high-impact vector graphics for t-shirt, hoodie, swag designs, and other digital assets as needed / requested.
Brand Identity & Layouts: Assist with clean logo design, typography styling, multi-page brochures, professional digital inventory e-catalogs, and other digital assets as needed / requested.
Asset Organization: Maintain highly organized asset libraries in Canva, Google Drive, or Adobe Creative Cloud, ensuring master source files are easily retrievable.
Day-to-Day Activities
Checking in with Pod Leads to prioritize the day's design requests and review feedback on active concepts.
Creating custom social templates, layout documents, or print deliverables following precise brand guidelines.
Adjusting successful design concepts to fit multiple aspect ratios (e.g., resizing an Instagram feed post into a story frame or a LinkedIn header).
Organizing visual master files in shared company folders (Google Drive, Canva, or Adobe CC Libraries).
Scheduling and queueing approved graphics inside social media dashboards for both client accounts and internal Atsap accounts.
Responding to minor layout, copy, or scheduling adjustments requested by the team or clients.
Who You Are & Desired Experience
Social Media Savvy: You have direct experience managing and scheduling brand channels, writing clean copy/captions, and using social publishing tools.
Highly Adaptable: You can comfortably switch design aesthetics between a sleek B2B corporate look, a vibrant consumer lifestyle brand, and cool apparel designs.
Software Proficient: You are highly proficient in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator (InDesign experience is a major plus for e-catalogs and brochures).
Detail-Oriented: You design with correct margins, bleed settings (for print), and file-naming habits.
An Excellent Communicator: You proactively ask for feedback, check branding requirements, and deliver projects on or ahead of schedule.
