About the Role

TYPE OF WORK
Full-time, remote, Philippines-based. Hours are set to US Eastern time — this is a hard requirement, not a preference, because the job is chasing US-based nurses who are reachable during US working hours.

PAY
$1,200 USD per month, flat. This is engaged as an independent contractor, not an employee. To be direct about what that means: there is no HMO, no 13th-month pay, and no referral bonus. None of those are part of this role, at any point. We're saying that plainly up front so nobody spends time applying under the wrong impression.

REPORTS TO
The HR Director.

ABOUT THE COMPANY AND THE ROLE
Home Heart Florida is a pediatric home health company. Our nurses go into the homes of medically complex children — kids with feeding tubes, ventilators, tracheostomies — and take care of them there instead of in a hospital. That only works if we have enough nurses cleared and ready to work, which is where this role comes in.

You own the entire stretch between "we offered this nurse the job" and "this nurse is cleared to see their first patient." Concretely, that means:

  • Chasing offers that haven't been signed yet
  • Collecting and checking every required credential: nursing license, CPR certification, TB test, background check — and catching it when something doesn't add up (a license that expired, a date on one form that contradicts another)
  • Scheduling the clinical skills check-off with our nursing team
  • Keeping every nurse's personnel file complete and ready for an audit at any time
  • Running 30-day and 90-day check-ins with newly started nurses

What this role is not: you are not evaluating anyone's clinical skill. A licensed nurse on our team does that. Your job is to make sure nothing falls through the cracks administratively before and after that happens.

WHO FITS THIS ROLE
Two things, both required:

1. You're a chaser. You will follow up with the same person for the fourth time this week and not think twice about it. Ghosting doesn't put you off — it makes you follow up again.
2. You're a detective. You notice when a date on page four of a document doesn't match page one. Small inconsistencies bother you until you've resolved them.

Backgrounds that transfer well: HR, recruitment coordination, onboarding, staffing, or healthcare back-office work. It's a strong bonus — not a requirement — if you've recruited, onboarded, or credentialed nurses or caregivers for a US employer before. You do not need to know anything about US home health or Medicaid rules going in. We'll teach you everything specific to how we operate.

HOW TO APPLY — READ CAREFULLY, THIS IS HOW WE SCREEN
We only accept applications through our own job board — not through OnlineJobs.ph messaging. Applying the wrong way means we will never see your application, because it won't land in our system.

1. Apply here: ----------
2. Include the word COMPASS somewhere in your application.
3. Attach your CV.
4. In your cover letter, answer this in under 200 words: You are responsible for 50 nurses who each owe you a different set of documents with different deadlines. How would you track them, and how would you know each morning who to chase first?
5. State the hours you can reliably work in US Eastern time.

Applications that skip any of these steps will not be considered — this is intentional, since attention to detail is the actual job.
