Part Time YouTube Vlog Editor

We're hiring on behalf of our founder, Lauren Nicole, a curve and plus size fashion and lifestyle content creator and business owner.

We're looking for a skilled editor to help bring Lauren's YouTube vlogs to life, someone who can take raw footage and turn it into a polished, engaging watch from start to finish. Here's a link to her most recent vlog so you can get a feel for the tone and pacing: ----------

Lauren is currently filming a weekly vlog, so we want to have someone secured by the end of the week.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw vlog footage into a full length YouTube video, including pacing, cuts, and structure
• Add captions, text overlays, transitions, and b-roll placement where it strengthens the story
• follow guidelines and notes
• Hoping to make this regular, so we'd need someone who can work to a regular upload schedule, flagging any footage issues along the way
• Take feedback and revise edits accurately

Requirements

• Strong portfolio of YouTube vlog style edits - specifically lifestyle and vlog style content (please share 1 to 2 examples with your application)
• Comfortable with long form pacing and storytelling, not just short form cuts
• Experience with Final Cut or CapCut to a professional standard
• Good understanding of YouTube best practices (hooks, retention)
• Good communication and reliable turnaround on deadlines
