Remote Software Developer – AI & Automation

FMA Construction, Inc. is looking for a skilled and proactive Remote Software Developer with experience in Artificial Intelligence and automation to help us improve and automate internal company processes.

We are looking for someone who can understand our current workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop practical technology solutions that save time, reduce manual work, and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal software/tools
• Create AI-powered automations and workflows
• Integrate different platforms and APIs
• Automate repetitive administrative and operational tasks
• Work with Google Workspace and company systems
• Help organize and improve data workflows
• Troubleshoot software and technical issues
• Recommend technology and AI solutions based on business needs
• Document systems and create clear SOPs for future use

Required Skills

• Strong programming experience
• Experience with AI tools, APIs, and AI integrations
• Workflow automation
• Google Workspace integrations
• Database knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot independently
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Good written and spoken English

Preferred Experience

• OpenAI API or similar AI platforms
• Google Apps Script
• Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar automation platforms
• Building internal business applications
• CRM/ERP integrations
• Construction or service-business systems is a plus

Position: Remote
Schedule: Part-time to start, with potential to increase hours based on projects and company needs.

We are looking for someone who does more than simply complete assigned programming tasks. The ideal candidate should be able to understand a business problem, propose a solution, and take ownership of implementing it.
