SEO Specialist

This role is a remote contract or full-time position on a monthly retainer for an experienced SEO Developer who can confidently implement technical and on-page SEO directly on live websites without breaking design or user experience. Starting with a paid trial month at $1,200 and moving to $1,500/month upon full acceptance, the role is highly hands-on and focuses on building and optimizing SEO- and ad-focused landing pages, implementing schema and metadata, and resolving technical SEO issues across platforms like WordPress and Thryv. The ideal candidate has strong SEO fundamentals, understands local service business SEO, can work beyond plugins, and thinks critically about page intent, structure, UX, and conversions. A paid demo project is required to evaluate strategic thinking and execution, as this person will be the primary owner of on-page and technical SEO, directly impacting rankings, lead generation, site performance, and client trust.
