Content Production Coordinator
Confidential employer
About Us
We are a growing parenting education company that helps parents of young children move from reactive parenting to clear, repeatable systems that build cooperation, responsibility, emotional security, and self-governance. Our founder is a nationally recognized parenting expert, and our content reaches a large and engaged audience of parents across social media.
Our content translates that methodology into practical parenting education through reaction videos, direct teaching, demonstrations, commentary, and other formats built around the real problems parents are experiencing.
We’re looking for a Content Production Coordinator to take approved content ideas and formats and move them through preparation, recording, production, and publication.
Position Summary
The Content Production Coordinator is a part-time contract role focused on execution and coordination. You will organize the timeline, assets, recording needs, handoffs, follow-up, and status visibility required to keep approved content moving. The role connects our content strategy, our founder’s content creation, and the team’s production and distribution work without adding another management layer.
The primary output is approved content that moves through production and gets published within the agreed scope, schedule, and budget, with clear ownership and minimal leadership follow-up required. This role coordinates work across the existing content team. It is not a people-management role over the current team.
This is a great fit for someone who creates movement, has strong follow-through and deadline ownership, and is comfortable operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with high standards for ownership, responsiveness, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
● Own and maintain the active content production calendar and production queue.
● Take approved content ideas, formats, or briefs and translate them into a clear production plan with required assets, owners, dependencies, and deadlines.
● Coordinate recording requirements with our founder and the relevant team members so recording sessions are prepared and productive.
● Gather and organize source clips, scripts, references, graphics, captions, links, and other assets needed before production begins.
● Coordinate handoffs between strategy, recording, editing, design, posting, and distribution.
● Follow up with the relevant people until each approved asset reaches the next stage and ultimately gets published.
● Maintain clear status visibility across content in preparation, ready to record, in editing, awaiting approval, scheduled, and published.
● Surface blockers early and bring forward the specific action required to keep content moving.
● Check that completed assets match the approved brief, contain the required components, and are ready for the intended platform before publication.
● Coordinate repurposing of approved content into additional platform-native assets such as Stories, carousels, quote graphics, educational slides, clips, and other derivative formats.
● Keep files, source assets, production notes, and final deliverables organized so the team can locate and reuse them quickly.
● Help preserve the agreed publishing cadence by ensuring approved content does not stall between people or production stages.
● Capture recurring production friction and recommend simple workflow improvements that increase speed, throughput, and reliability.
Qualifications
● 3-5 years of professional experience in content production coordination, social media coordination, project coordination, creative operations, or a closely related role.
● Demonstrated ability to manage multiple content assets, owners, deadlines, and handoffs at the same time.
● Strong organization, follow-through, and deadline ownership.
● Familiarity with social media production workflows across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook , and similar platforms.
● Clear written communication and the ability to follow up directly and consistently with collaborators.
● Ability to work independently, maintain accurate status information, and escalate blockers with a proposed next action.
● Familiarity with Google Workspace and common project management or content planning tools.
● Basic familiarity with Canva, CapCut, or similar creative tools is helpful.
● Experience working with remote teams is a plus.
What Success Looks Like
● Approved content ideas consistently become published assets rather than stalling in production.
● Every active content item has a clear status, next action, owner, and timeline.
● Recording sessions begin with the required material prepared and organized.
● Handoffs happen on time, and missing assets or dependencies are identified before they create delays.
● Leadership spends less time checking status, chasing people, or reconstructing what happens next.
● Publishing becomes more consistent because the production pipeline stays organized and visible.
● Rework declines because the approved brief and required assets travel with the content through each stage.
● Strong content is systematically repurposed into additional assets and formats.
● The production system supports greater content volume without requiring proportional increases in leadership coordination.
