Experienced Content Editor (5+ Years in Content Marketing)

180 Marketing is a US-based digital marketing agency looking for an experienced Content Editor to join our team. This is a full-time contractor role for someone based in the Philippines who has spent at least five years working in content marketing, with substantial hands-on writing and editing experience.

CONTENT FORMATS
You should be confident writing and editing all of the following:

• Listicles
• Buyers' guides
• How-to guides
• Product guides
• Best-of articles
• Product reviews
• Product descriptions
• E-commerce category pages
• Service pages
• Press releases

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Edit and proofread content across a range of clients and industries.
• Improve structure, clarity, readability, accuracy, tone, and brand consistency.
• Check facts, sources, grammar, spelling, and formatting before content is delivered.
• Make sure each piece satisfies its brief, search intent, audience, and business purpose.
• Use AI thoughtfully to support research and editing while applying your own judgment and verifying the output.
• Manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines reliably.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least five years of experience in a content marketing role.
• Strong professional experience in both content writing and content editing.
• Demonstrated experience across the content formats listed above.
• Exceptional written English and close attention to detail.
• A sound understanding of content strategy, search intent, on-page SEO, and audience needs.
• Practical experience using AI tools in a content workflow.
• Good organization, communication, and reliability.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND BENEFITS
