About the Role

Recruitment Appointment Setter | Remote

Full-Time | Independent Contractor | US Hours

We’re looking for a full-time Recruitment Appointment Setter to join our remote team, supporting multiple clients across the United States.

This is a hybrid calling and recruitment administration role. You’ll speak with candidates, schedule interviews, manage follow-ups and candidate records, and support different stages of the recruitment process.

Some candidates will have applied directly for a position, while others will have been matched with an opportunity based on their profile. You’ll need to confidently introduce opportunities, create interest, handle questions or objections, and guide suitable candidates toward an interview.

This is a long-term opportunity, and we’re looking for someone who wants to become a consistent and dependable part of the team. Reliability is extremely important to us — we need someone we can count on to show up consistently, take ownership of their responsibilities, and maintain a high standard of work day after day.

As you develop, you may work across different parts of the recruitment pipeline or take ownership of the full candidate process for assigned clients, including communicating directly with clients and implementing their instructions and updates.

What You’ll Be Doing

Calling applicants and candidates matched with relevant opportunities
Conducting initial screening conversations
Introducing roles, building interest, and handling candidate objections
Booking and coordinating interviews
Following up with candidates by phone, SMS, and email
Managing candidate records and updating CRM systems accurately
Supporting different stages of the recruitment pipeline
Handling scheduling, data entry, and recruitment administration
Communicating directly with US clients and implementing their instructions
Managing multiple candidates, clients, tasks, and priorities
Working toward daily and weekly performance targets

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in outbound calling, appointment setting, sales, recruitment, or a similar phone-based role
Excellent spoken and written English
Clear, natural, and confident communication on the phone
High energy and the ability to build rapport quickly
Strong listening skills and the ability to respond naturally rather than simply reading from a script
Confidence handling questions and objections
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organisation and the ability to multitask effectively
Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions accurately
Professional communication skills for working directly with US clients
Strong computer literacy and confidence learning new systems
Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
Coachable and able to apply feedback quickly
Highly reliable and consistent in both attendance and quality of work
Looking for a stable, long-term position and committed to growing with the team
Reliable internet and consistent availability during US working hours

Compensation

$200 USD per week | 40 hours per week, including a Saturday shift

Weekly performance bonuses are available after successfully completing the probation period.

This is a full-time independent contractor position.

To Be Considered

Please submit:

1. Your CV

2. A 1–2 minute voice recording created specifically for this application, answering both questions:

1. What interests you most about this position, and why do you think you would be good at a role combining candidate calls with recruitment administration?

2. Imagine you’re speaking with a candidate during an initial screening call. When you offer them an interview, they say:

“I’m not sure. I’ve applied for quite a few jobs and I don’t really know if I’m interested anymore.”

How would you respond and try to encourage them to move forward with the interview?

Please answer naturally in your own words. We want to hear your personality, energy, and communication style.

Generic or previously recorded introductions will not be considered.

Recruitment Process

Our recruitment process consists of:

1. Initial screening call — a brief conversation to assess communication skills and initial suitability.

2. First Zoom interview & practical assessment — learn more about the role and complete practical exercises based on the work you would actually be doing.

3. Second Zoom interview — a final conversation to discuss your experience, assessment, and overall suitability.

4. Final hiring decision

Ready to Apply?

If you’re a confident communicator who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking for a long-term opportunity where you can grow and take on more responsibility, we’d love to hear from you.

Submit your CV and voice recording to apply. We’re reviewing applications as they arrive, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
