About the Role

About VibeKast

VibeKast is building audience infrastructure for premium film and television, helping filmmakers activate audiences earlier through curated membership, access, participation, experiences, and community. By building audience during development, filmmakers can generate early revenue, demonstrate demand, and create greater leverage toward financing, marketing, and distribution.

Our immediate growth priority is reaching established filmmakers and producers with serious projects for whom this kind of audience infrastructure can create meaningful strategic value.

The Role

We’re looking for a sharp, curious Creative Growth Strategist to own the creative side of that challenge.

This is not a traditional social media manager or graphic designer role. We need someone who can deeply investigate an audience, understand what makes them tick, uncover the insight, develop the idea, create premium work, and connect that work to action.

You do not need to come from film and television. You do need to be willing to study independent filmmakers and producers until you understand their world, psychology, priorities, pressures, decision-making, and what earns their attention and trust.

VibeKast is also developing a founder-led marketing strategy. You’ll work directly with our Founder/CEO to identify ideas, stories, perspectives, and conversations that can become compelling content and campaigns while helping build a VibeKast brand that can scale beyond its founder.

We don’t want someone who waits for creative briefs. We want someone who researches, thinks, brings ideas, creates excellent work, and learns from what happens.

What You’ll Own

  • Research filmmakers and producers to understand their psychology, priorities, objections, language, behaviors, and decision-making.
  • Develop original campaign concepts, hooks, messaging, and creative specifically for VibeKast.
  • Help develop and execute a founder-led content and marketing strategy.
  • Write compelling copy for email , landing pages, social, ads, outreach, campaigns, and calls to action.
  • Create polished visual assets and establish a practical VibeKast brand kit and template system that maintains a premium and consistent visual standard.
  • Connect creative to a clear journey: audience insight → idea → creative → CTA → action.
  • Develop email and nurture content that moves qualified prospects forward.
  • Develop social and community strategies that create relationships, participation, and qualified interest, not simply followers.
  • Identify communities, partnerships, events, conversations, and channels that could put VibeKast in front of the right people.
  • Work with our Growth Systems & Automation operator, who owns the technical funnel, CRM, automations, tracking, and optimization.
  • Review performance and use what we learn to improve the next creative experiment.
  • Create short-form video when that’s in your skill set, or effectively brief and manage a video editor.

What We’re Looking For

This is a premium, high-consideration B2B marketing challenge. We need someone who understands that earning the attention and trust of established producers requires a different level of thinking than generating inexpensive consumer leads.

You should have strong visual taste, excellent copywriting ability, an understanding of psychology and marketing, strong concept and campaign-development skills, and the instinct to research what you don’t know rather than make assumptions.

You should understand how design, copy, CTA, and conversion work together and be able to generate ideas independently, challenge weak ideas, and care about performance as much as aesthetics.

Experience marketing high-value B2B services, premium offerings, professional services, or other high-consideration purchases is especially relevant.

Templates are absolutely fine. Generic-looking work isn’t.

Video editing is a strong plus. If editing isn’t your strength, you should have enough visual and storytelling judgment to effectively direct an editor.

What Success Looks Like

You’re not waiting for us to tell you what to post.

You’re learning the business and audience and coming to the table with: I noticed this. I researched it. Here’s the opportunity. Here’s the idea. Here’s what I created. Here’s what happened. Here’s what I think we should try next.

Compensation

$600–$800 USD/month, part-time

There is opportunity for compensation and responsibility to grow as VibeKast grows.

To Apply

No generic cover letter is necessary.

We use AI ourselves and value it as a tool, but we’re interested in your thinking, taste, curiosity, and point of view. A specific answer that sounds like you is much more valuable than a polished generic one.

1. Study VibeKast before answering. Who do you believe we’re trying to reach right now? What would you need to understand about their psychology, priorities, objections, and decision-making before marketing to them? Tell us how you would research and find them, not just what you assume about them.

2. Give us one original idea for getting the attention of the filmmakers or producers VibeKast should be reaching. Walk us through the insight → concept → creative execution → CTA → what happens after they respond. Please don’t give us a generic social media campaign.

3. Show us 2–3 pieces of your strongest creative work. For each, tell us who it was for, what you wanted the audience to do, what you personally created, and why you made those creative choices. Include performance results when available.

4. Show us one piece of marketing or creative work you think is exceptional that you did NOT create. Tell us specifically why you think it works.

5. Tell us about something you created that didn’t work as expected. How did you know? What did you learn, and what did you change?

6. Tell us about the highest-value or highest-consideration product or service you’ve marketed. Who was the buyer, what made the decision difficult, and what did you learn about earning their attention and trust?

7. Tell us about your video capabilities. If you edit, send 1–2 examples of your strongest work. If you don’t, tell us briefly about your experience directing or managing video editors.
