E-commerce Marketplace & Catalog Mastery (Starts part time converts to Full time)

We sell three activewear brands on a Middle East marketplace (Namshi & Noon). This role combines creating (listings, images) with managing the catalog. Starts part time (phase 1), grows into a full time permanent role (phase 2).

1. Daily Work: Your work splits into two periods: Optimizing Period and New Stock Period

Optimizing Period (most weeks):

• Optimize listings (phase 1)- generate new images, SEO for products that haven't sold in 2 months
• Creating Tasks on Trello (phase 1)- Report plan each morning, status each evening and create tickets for your work and tickets for founder's input (pricing, deals, etc.)
• Update SOPs (phase 1 and 2) - need to regularly update SOP documents for new systems/claude projects created

New Stock Period (every ~6–8 weeks): 80% of the work is image generation

• Optimise listing (as explained above) - Max 1 hr/day on old listings
• AI image generation (phase 1)- Generating AI model images from raw files of flat images back and front of clothing (using our internal AI tool and Custom GPTs)
• Organizing (phase 1) generated images in drive
• Create Bulk listings Excel & Claude Projects (phase 2) - SKUs, titles, images, descriptions etc)

2. Accountability/Responsibility

• Quality control for images (phase 1) - generating and retouching images ready for upload
• Organizing images (phase 1) raw flat images vs generated images in the drive
• Audit Claude-generated catalogs (phase 2) checking: spelling, SKU/barcode accuracy, etc
• Non-moving products (phase 1) - flagged to founder after optimization attempts
• Keep SOPs and docs (phase 1 & 2) updated
• Marketplace Catalog issues (phase 1 & 2) - contacting marketplace account manager to resolve issues
• Updating founder Daily (phase 1 & 2) - Informing founder what's pending, done, and needs their input

3. Qualification

• Online marketplace experience (Amazon, Shopee, Noon, Lazada, Walmart, etc.)
• Intermediate Excel/Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
• Claude Projects/Cowork/Code experience (built, not just used)

-Canva/PhotoRoom or similar editing tools

• Generative AI - ChatGPT/Gemini for content/image generation
• Task management tools (Trello/ClickUp/Asana)
• Slack - communication

• This role is currently building + managing the catalog.
• Over time, this role can shift toward more managing, less building.
