About the Role

I run a YouTube channel producing music listicle videos and I'm looking for an experienced editor to join on a per-video basis.

The work:

Video length: ~25 minutes
Budget: $30 per video
Script and voiceover will be provided — your job is the edit, music sync, and visuals (sourcing the footage and music clips too)
Ongoing/repeat work for the right person

What the edit needs to include:

Intro section: short music clips inserted every few seconds between each voiceover line, so the opening feels punchy and keeps energy high
Per song: when each song on the list comes up, play a few seconds of the track before the voiceover starts talking over it, so viewers hear it first
Clean pacing, good song-to-voiceover balance, and the kind of polish YouTube music channels are known for

Reference videos — this is the quality bar I'm after:

To apply:

1) Attach your portfolio with relevant videos (music listicle / music-focused YouTube edits, ideally)
^please include google drive links with the video, not your full portfolio

2) Tell me roughly how long each 25-min video takes you to turn around
3) Start your reply with the word "MUSIC" so I know you read the full post

Applications without a portfolio or without "MUSIC" will be skipped.
