About the Role:
I am looking for a reliable, creative, and detail-oriented Short-Form Video Editor from the Philippines to help edit engaging videos for my brand.
Our content follows a specific, consistent format: split-screen / top-and-bottom videos featuring Omegle video interactions on the top screen and musicians/performers on the bottom screen.
This is a part-time position (3 shorts per week) with the potential to transition into a full-time role with long-form YouTube editing in the near future.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit 3 short-form videos per week (50 to 80 seconds each).
Synchronize split-screen visuals (Top: Omegle clip / Bottom: Music video or performance clip).
Add dynamic captions/subtitles, sound effects (SFX), clean transitions, and visual hooks to maintain high audience retention.
Ensure audio levels are properly balanced (dialogue vs. background music).
Follow a consistent template and brand style while maintaining fast turnaround times.
Requirements:
Proven experience editing short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
High proficiency in Premiere Pro, CapCut (Desktop), or DaVinci Resolve.
Strong sense of pacing, timing, and audio sync (especially with musical elements).
Great eye for captions/subtitles, typography, and motion graphic overlays.
Stable high-speed internet connection and a reliable work setup.
Good communication skills and ability to meet weekly deadlines consistently.
Compensation & Work Hours:
Starting Rate: $350 USD / month (Part-time output: 3 short-form videos/week).
Payment Frequency: Bi-weekly or monthly (via Wise or PayPal).
Growth: Opportunities for pay increases, long-form content work, and full-time hours as the channel grows.
How to Apply:
If you’re interested, please send an application with the subject line: "Music & Omegle Editor – [Your Name]"
Please include:
Portfolio / Video Links: 3–5 examples of short-form videos you have edited (especially split-screen, music-focused, or dialogue/caption-heavy content).
Editing Tools: What editing software do you use?
Turnaround Time: How long does it usually take you to finish one 60-second edited short?
