Founder Content Writer / Ghostwriter - LinkedIn, X and Newsletter

We are looking for one dedicated writer to become the long-term writing partner to a UK-based founder/operator in e-commerce and social commerce.

This is not a generic social media manager role and it is not high-volume SEO writing. The job is to learn one founder's voice, extract strong ideas from conversations and source material, and turn them into sharp, useful content across LinkedIn, X and a weekly newsletter.

The current content operation already has an audience, source material and a working publishing rhythm. We now want one person who can build context over time, improve the quality and own the writing consistently. You will work directly with the founder and internal team. The role will not be passed between writers.

What you will own:

• A weekly 30-45 minute content interview with the founder
• 4-5 LinkedIn posts per week across different formats
• 1-3 longer article-style X posts or threads per week
• One newsletter per week
• Research, fact-checking and turning company/client insights into useful content without exposing confidential details
• A simple editorial calendar, revisions and a record of what performs
• Repurposing ideas across channels without copying the same post word-for-word

You may be a fit if:

• You have written in a founder, executive or subject-matter expert's voice before
• Your English is excellent and your writing sounds natural, specific and human
• You can interview someone, spot the strongest angle and challenge weak ideas
• You understand the differences between LinkedIn, X and email
• You are comfortable writing about e-commerce, marketing, agencies, creator commerce or adjacent business topics
• You are reliable, responsive and want a long-term role with one team

This is not a fit if your experience is mainly generic blogs, AI-generated content, captions or scheduling. Tools can support research and editing, but the thinking, interviewing and final writing must be yours. You must personally write the work; no subcontracting.

Shortlisted candidates will have a brief interview and a paid work sample using the same source material. Test work will not be published without separate agreement.

This starts with a 6-week paid contract and is intended to become a long-term, full-time role if the fit is strong.

Location: Philippines, remote. Full-time contractor. USD $1,000-$1,600 per month depending on experience and evidence of fit. A reliable daily overlap with 9am-1pm UK time is required; applicants should state the exact hours they can maintain.
