US Accountant (Remote, Full-Time)

We're a growing U.S. fractional CFO firm serving service-based businesses. Here's who we're looking for:

• You're an expert in QuickBooks Online and you've carried multiple U.S. clients at once. Not one company for a couple of years. Several sets of books, at the same time.

• You know how to do hard reconciliations. If something is out of balance, you can figure it out, identify the problem, and make a suggestion on how to prove it.

• You can book a payroll entry. Gross wages and payroll taxes, with a minimal amount of training.

• You understand accrual accounting and you can prepare a close package for CFO review.

• Your communication skills are impeccable. You explain things in a way that's easy to understand, and you communicate clearly and proactively to leadership, in writing and out loud.

• The hours are 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday. This is not optional. That's eight hours plus a half-hour lunch. You have a strong internet connection and you present professionally on video.
