About the Role

Harder Than Life is a podcast and personal brand built by me, Kelly Siegel. I'm an entrepreneur who has bought and rebuilt companies, failed plenty, and built the show around one idea: you are not your story. The audience is high-performing people who keep hitting the same ceiling and are ready to hear the hard truth about why. Two episodes a week (a guest interview and a solo episode), plus books and speaking.

I'm hiring one person to own TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook for this brand. You cut the clips, you write the hooks and captions, you post, you engage, and you grow the audience. You are judged on two numbers: net new followers per month across the three platforms, and clicks pushed off-platform to podcast episodes and the email list. Views are the means, not the end.

What you will do every day

Watch each new full-length episode and pull the 8 to 12 strongest moments: the hard truths, the stories, the lines that make someone stop scrolling.
Edit vertical clips in CapCut or Premiere with punchy hooks in the first two seconds, clean captions, tight cuts, and a consistent HTL look. You'll get brand assets and examples. You are expected to match them, then make them better.
Post daily on TikTok and Instagram (Reels, plus carousels and quote cards) and cross-post to Facebook , with captions and hooks written in my voice: blunt, warm, zero fluff, no motivational-poster language.
Put a clear call to action on every post that points to the full episode or the email list, and track which clips actually drive clicks.
Reply to every comment and DM within a few hours during US Eastern daytime. Start conversations in the comments of accounts our audience already follows.
Study what's working in the personal development, entrepreneurship, and podcast-clip space every week and bring me two tests to run. Then run them and report what happened.
Send me a weekly scorecard: followers gained per platform, views, saves and shares, profile visits, link clicks to episodes and email signups, top three clips and why they worked, and what you're changing next week.

What I expect from you

You own the numbers. A bad week gets a straight explanation with data and a plan, not an excuse.
You can show me short-form accounts you have grown, with the before and after. Podcast clipping experience is a strong plus.
You're fast and clean in CapCut or Premiere and know how to caption, hook, and pace for TikTok and Reels specifically, not just resize a horizontal video.
You write natural English and can hear the difference between my voice and generic influencer copy.
You work most of your day on US Eastern time so posting and engagement land when the audience is awake.
You test, fail, learn, and try again. That's how this brand works and it's how this job works. Failing the same way twice without learning from it is the one thing that isn't acceptable.

What you get

Direct access to the owner. No agency layers, fast feedback, real creative input.
Clear targets, honest coaching, and a monthly bonus tied to follower growth and link clicks.
A long-term seat on a brand that publishes twice a week, every week, so you'll never be short on material.
