Social Media & Marketing Virtual Assistant for Hair Salon Brand

About the role: Dancy Hair Sps is a growing hair salon and beauty education brand. We're looking for a reliable, long-term virtual assistant to take over our social media, content, and marketing systems so the owner can focus on clients and business growth. This starts as a video editing and content scheduling role, with room to grow into marketing automation and community management as you prove yourself.

You'll start with:

• Editing raw video footage (hair transformations, tutorials, behind-the-scenes) into polished, platform-ready short-form content
• Scheduling edited content across Instagram, Facebook , and other social platforms via our posting app
• Keeping a consistent content calendar

As you grow with us, responsibilities may expand to:

• Daily community engagement (comments, DMs)
• Cross-posting to Pinterest and LinkedIn
• Writing a biweekly newsletter draft for owner review
• Building customer retention flows in Square
• Supporting an education program for other hairstylists

What we're looking for:

• Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar)
• Experience scheduling content across multiple social platforms
• Good written English for captions and community responses
• Reliable, self-directed, comfortable with async communication
• Beauty/salon industry familiarity is a plus but not required

Schedule: [20— hours/week expected] Pay: [$5/hr with room to grow and make up to $10/hr after showing great skills]
