Social Media Expert / Specialist – Hair Extension Salon (Squarespace Integration)

About Us
We are a growing beauty brand, MeDaySalon, with a new extension salon and nail spa location in San Jose City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. We provide comprehensive in-salon services such as premium hair extensions, nail services, professional coloring, and waxing. In addition to our physical salon services, we manufacture our own premium hair extensions (100% Remy Human Hair / Raw Virgin Asian Hair) and handle individual online sales of our extensions directly to everyday clients. Our main business website and booking system are built on Squarespace."

We are looking for a highly skilled, creative, and proactive Social Media Expert to join our team of four and help build, launch, and manage our brand-new online presence from scratch!
Key Responsibilities

• Profile Setup & Launch: Build and fully optimize our brand-new business pages across Facebook , Instagram, and TikTok from the ground up.
• Content Creation & Strategy: Design a cohesive, elegant content aesthetic. Plan, script, and edit high-quality short-form video content (Reels, TikToks) utilizing trending music, before-and-afters, and educational pieces about hair extension care, lengths, and colors.
• Funnel & Traffic Management: Structure content campaigns explicitly designed to drive traffic from social platforms directly to our Squarespace site to capture online sales and service bookings.
• Community Engagement: Monitor incoming comments, questions, and direct messages daily to guide potential customers into the sales funnel.
• Local SEO Coordination: Monitor and update our digital footprint (including auditing our Google Business Profile) to make sure local clients can easily find our San Jose salon on maps.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience building and scaling business social media channels from the ground up (experience in the hair, beauty, or fashion industries is highly preferred).
• Solid understanding of social commerce and experience bridging social traffic seamlessly into an external website ecosystem.
• Familiarity or comfort with Squarespace interfaces and links.
• Creative video editing skills for short-form video formats (using CapCut, Canva, or native app tools).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience utilizing modern AI tools to streamline content outlines, captions, and organization.
