Video Editor - Instagram Reels & AI Graphics

I’m looking for someone to help me edit 5–7 Instagram Reels a week for my personal brand. I create content about AI tools and workflows for small and medium-sized businesses, especially owners who are bootstrapping and looking for practical ways to save time.

I’ll provide the footage, creative direction, and examples of how I want the videos edited. I need someone who can take that direction, get familiar with my style, and consistently turn around good work.

The work
Most videos will be short-form content for Instagram. Editing will include cutting footage, adding captions and on-screen text, and using screen recordings, graphics, music, and sound effects where they make sense.
I’d also like to work with someone who’s interested in experimenting with AI tools for graphics and motion graphics. You don’t need to know every tool already, but you should be curious and willing to learn.

What I’m looking for

• Experience editing Reels or other short-form videos, with examples you can share.
• CapCut experience is preferred, but I’m open to other editing software.
• A good sense of pacing and an eye for clean, readable captions and graphics.
• Good English comprehension and clear communication.
• Someone who takes feedback well and applies it to future videos.
• Availability to deliver finished videos within 1–2 days of receiving the footage and instructions, including any revisions.
• Some overlap with Pacific Time, especially at the beginning while we’re working through my editing style.

YouTube editing experience would be a bonus, as I’d eventually like to create longer videos too.
This is a part-time role to start. Getting familiar with the tools and my style may take some extra time initially. I’d love to find someone who can get up to speed fairly quickly and work with me over the long term as the brand grows.
