Senior Video Editor & Colorist — Event, Music & Commercial Work (DaVinci Resolve + Premiere Pro)

Cube World Films is a full-service video production company in Southern California. We shoot concerts and festivals, DJ sets, corporate events, drone and FPV aerials, real estate, and social content. We've produced work for creators including Ben Azelart, the Nelk Boys, Sofie Dossi, and Anna McNulty. We're looking for an editor who can take our footage and finish it at a level our clients would expect from a high-end agency.

What you'd be working with:

Sony FX3 footage shot in S-Log3 / S-Gamut3.Cine
DJI drone and FPV aerials
Multicam event and concert coverage, often with separate audio
Podcast and interview footage

What we need you to do:

Edit EVENT recaps, CONCERT AND DJ FILMS/SETS, brand and corporate pieces, and short-form cutdowns
Color grade in DaVinci Resolve — proper node-based grading, not a LUT dropped on the timeline. You should be comfortable with color management, matching cameras and shots across a project, and building a consistent look for a client's brand
Edit primarily in Premiere Pro (Resolve for finishing is fine if your workflow is clean and you can round-trip)
Handle audio properly: sync, cleanup, music beds, levels that hold up on a phone speaker and in a theater
Work to a turnaround of one to two weeks per project, and tell us early if something is going to slip

What we're looking for:

Several years editing professionally, with a reel that shows finished commercial or event work — not student projects or template edits
Real color grading skill. Show us before-and-after examples of your grades if you have them
Fast, organized project management: sensible bins, labeled sequences, clean handoffs
Good taste in pacing and music. A lot of our work lives or dies on rhythm
A workstation that can actually handle 4K S-Log3 and drone footage without proxies choking you
Reliable communication in English

Nice to have: motion graphics and titles in After Effects, FPV edit experience, experience cutting for Instagram and TikTok in vertical.

Pay: depending on scope, negotiable based on your reel. Ongoing work for the right person — we have consistent volume and want someone we can keep busy rather than a one-off hire.
