Social Media & Community VA (Part-Time) — Motherhood Brand

Birthing Wonder & Co. makes keepsake products for expecting mothers, starting with a hardcover pregnancy journal, with more brand extensions on the way. We're a small, founder-led team building something meaningful for families, and we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us, not just complete tasks for us.

We need a self-sufficient operator to own our social presence and community from day one. If you're good, this role grows. We're looking for someone we can hand more of the business to over time: content strategy, partnerships, eventually helping run parts of the brand. Start here, prove you can operate independently, and the ceiling is high.

What you'll own:

Full posting calendar and execution on Instagram and TikTok, self-directed after initial brand onboarding
Simple graphics, reels, and carousels in Canva
Real presence in pregnancy and motherhood Facebook groups and communities, as the voice of Birthing Wonder, genuine conversations and relationships, not scripts
Comments and DMs, responded to with warmth and good judgment, in the moment
Your own weekly reporting on what's working and what you're changing
Spotting partnership and micro-influencer opportunities before we ask

Who thrives here:

You've run social media somewhere with real autonomy, not just followed someone else's calendar
You think like an operator: you notice what needs doing and do it
You're sharp in conversation, comfortable representing a brand's voice unscripted
You want to build something, not just clock hours
Bonus: you know the wellness, baby, or motherhood space

Hours: 10 to 15 hrs/week to start, flexible as long as posting stays consistent and messages get handled promptly. One short weekly async check-in. Room to grow into more hours and more responsibility as trust builds.
