CFO / CPA–CA (Australian Xero)

We are a boutique Melbourne custom builder. The business needs clear eyes on cashflow, job WIP / committed cost, and a monthly management pack.

Part-time / fractional CFO-style role for a CPA or CA with strong Australian Xero (job / project tracking). You sit above day-to-day bookkeeping. External bookkeeper stays — you do not replace them. Prepare and recommend; the business d ---------- .

What you’ll do

Rolling cashflow (e.g. 13-week); flag troughs
Job-level WIP views; split estimate · commitment · billed · actual (Xero) · forecast
Monitor Xero coding / job mapping; monthly file review with bookkeeper work in mind
Plain-English monthly and weekly pack (Loom welcome)
Tools: Xero AU jobs/projects (essential); Excel/Sheets; Google Workspace; Wunderbuild or similar; bank-feeds awareness; Loom

About you

CPA/CA with proven AU file work
Essential: AU Xero job/project tracking + AU construction/trade WIP and/or cashflow
