WordPress Website Developer

We are looking for a WordPress Website Developer to help complete and build out a private college website.

The homepage and overall design direction are already in place. Your role will be to build the remaining pages, add program information, complete integrations, and ensure the website is professional, responsive, fast, and easy to maintain.

This is a remote, short-term project of approximately 40 total hours.

Main Responsibilities

Build out the remaining website pages
Create pages for Admissions, Programs, Financial Aid, Contact Us, About Us, Student Resources, Policies, FAQs, and other required college sections
Add diploma and certificate program information
Maintain the existing website design and branding
Set up HubSpot CRM and connect website forms/leads
Complete basic on-page SEO
Add social media feed integrations
Add approved affiliate/referral links to relevant pages
Set up a basic non-AI chatbot for FAQs and lead capture that can later be upgraded
Ensure the website works properly on desktop, tablet, and mobile
Use minimal plugins and keep the website lightweight
Make custom HTML, CSS, or JavaScript adjustments where needed
Provide brief daily progress updates and work closely with the project lead

Ideal Candidate

Strong WordPress experience
Comfortable with Elementor
Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience building responsive websites
Basic SEO knowledge
Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM integrations is preferred
Able to follow an existing design closely
Good communication and reliable availability
Able to join Zoom meetings when required

Project Details

Rate: CAD $5.00/hour
Approximately 40 total hours
Remote work
Availability required between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM Toronto time
Daily progress check-ins
Zoom availability required
Immediate or near-immediate start preferred
