Medical Scribe (Chiropractic) — Remote VA (HIPAA-Trained, 30+ hrs/week, Temporary Leave Coverage)

About Us
We are a busy U.S.-based chiropractic clinic providing spinal adjustments, rehabilitation exercises, posture correction therapy, and acupuncture.
We are hiring a detail-oriented virtual medical scribe to cover a staff member on medical leave. You will be trained directly by that staff member before their leave begins. The role runs for a minimum of 8 weeks; extension beyond that is possible but not guaranteed.
We value transparency: this is a defined short-term role, with the possibility — but not the promise — of continued work depending on performance and clinic needs.

Role Overview
You will create clean, audit-ready SOAP notes in DrChrono

Daily Output
~25-40 patient notes/day

Working Hours (CST)
Monday 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM · 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Tuesday 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Thursday 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM · 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Friday 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Saturday 7:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Key points:
Saturday CST is mandatory
~30+ hours/week availability required
Need to be online (on-cam) when we see patients.
We use a time doctor app, as a tracker.
Notes must be completed daily and reviewed for accuracy.

Requirements
Strong written English (clinical clarity required)
HIPAA certification
Saturday availability (non-negotiable)
Reliable computer + stable internet (20+ Mbps)
Quiet workspace
High attention to detail
Prior medical VA / scribe / healthcare admin experience preferred
EHR experience (DrChrono) is a plus

Preferred
Chiropractic or physical therapy background
Familiarity with medical terminology (ROM, orthopedic tests, musculoskeletal findings)
Prior experience with structured clinical documentation

Compensation
$4-6 per hour (depending on experience)
30+ hours/week during coverage period
Paid weekly via Wise (preferred)
