MEP Design Engineer – Plumbing (PHE)

We’re looking for an experienced MEP Design Engineer specializing in Plumbing (PHE) and Fire-Fighting Systems to join our team remotely.

Schedule: U.S. business hours
Experience: 4+ years

Key Responsibilities
Design plumbing and fire-fighting systems for residential and commercial buildings
Perform hydraulic, water demand, tank sizing and pipe sizing calculations
Design water supply, drainage, stormwater, rainwater harvesting and sewage systems
Design sprinkler, hydrant and fire pump systems
Develop drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit MEP and BIM 360
Perform clash detection, BIM coordination and resolution
Prepare BOQs, material take-offs and project documentation
Ensure designs meet applicable codes and engineering standards

Requirements
4+ years of hands-on Plumbing/PHE and Fire-Fighting design experience
Strong knowledge of hydraulic calculations and system sizing
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2020, Revit MEP 2020 and BIM 360
Experience with multidisciplinary coordination and clash resolution
Able to independently own design calculations and deliver projects on schedule

Note: This is a Plumbing/PHE and Fire-Fighting design role, not HVAC. Candidates whose experience is primarily CAD/Revit drafting from another engineer’s calculations are unlikely to be a fit.

Nice to have: SketchUp, STAAD.Pro, and experience with hotels, schools, restaurants or fitness clubs.
