Gaming Writer & Researcher - MMO & Gaming News Essay For Successful YouTube Channel

I run a gaming YouTube channel with 770,000 subscribers focused on MMORPGs, ARPGs, Survival RPGs upcoming games.

I'm hiring a writer/researcher to handle video essay and news-style scripts so I can focus on recording and channel direction.

What you'll do:

• Pitch video topics: upcoming MMO announcements, deep dives on games in development, "everything we know about X" breakdowns, industry news angles.
• Research the topic thoroughly and write a full script in my established format.
• Provide all sources with links, plus timestamped links to trailers, gameplay footage, and clips my editor can use.
• Coordinate directly with my video editor on footage and visual references.
• Monitor gaming and MMO news so we don't miss anything worth covering.

Requirements:

• Genuine gaming knowledge: you understand MMO terminology, genres, and what makes games interesting to a core audience. This is non-negotiable.
• Excellent written English with a natural conversational tone
• Rigorous sourcing: every factual claim needs a link, I fact-check everything.
• Understanding of what makes a video clickable, not just accurate
• Reliable with deadlines

Pay: $150 per script during a paid trial + $50 bonus if the produced video breaks 100k views in the first 30 days, paid on a per project basis via PayPal or Wise - Long-term role - 5-10 scripts per month (focus on quality over quantity)
