Freight Auditor – Full-Time | Remote

UltaTech is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Freight Auditor to join our team and support our growing operations.

This role is responsible for auditing carrier invoices, reviewing billing discrepancies, approving payments, and working with carriers and internal teams to resolve billing issues.

We’re looking for someone with strong experience in auditing, freight billing, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or a related accounting function. Freight auditing or transportation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
Audit and process freight invoices accurately and efficiently.
Review aging reports and work with carriers to resolve billing discrepancies.
Communicate with internal teams and external partners regarding billing concerns.
Help create and document standard operating procedures.
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Work with multiple software systems and learn new tools as needed.
Support the implementation of new systems and processes.
Work with the integration team to identify and resolve system or process issues.
Identify operational issues and recommend process improvements.
Manage an assigned portfolio of accounts and support cross-functional projects.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in auditing, freight billing, accounts payable, bookkeeping, or a related accounting function.
Transportation and/or freight auditing experience is preferred.
Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with transportation management or accounting software is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Able to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
