About the role

I run a small group of businesses: a web development agency serving overseas clients, a Manila nightlife content site, and a travel brand. I need one person who can take repeatable work off my plate and own it end to end.

You will be checking other people's work, producing short-form video, and running research projects that turn into published content.

What you'll do

Quality control

• Review work submitted by my WordPress developer against a checklist I provide
• Verify pages render correctly on desktop and mobile, links work, forms submit, images load
• Log issues clearly with screenshots and send back for fixes
• Confirm the fix before marking a task complete in ClickUp

Video and content production (approx. 40%)

• Write short scripts for Reels and TikToks (nightlife venues, travel, behind-the-scenes)
• Edit vertical video: cuts, captions, music, hooks, B-roll
• Produce finished short-form videos per week across two brands
• Shoot basic footage on a phone when a venue visit is required (Metro Manila)

Social media (approx. 20%)

• Plan and schedule posts across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook for two brands
• Write captions, source hashtags, respond to comments and DMs
• Track what performs and report weekly in a simple format

Research and data entry (approx. 15%)

• Research Manila bars, clubs, and events on Facebook and Instagram
• Pull venue details, event dates, photos, and pricing into our database
• Source and organize images with correct naming and attribution
• Identify barter, X-deal, and brand collaboration opportunities with venues and brands, and make first contact

Requirements

• 1+ years in a VA, EA, social media, or content production role
• Strong video editing: CapCut required, Premiere Pro or DaVinci a plus
• Can write clean, natural English captions and scripts (this is a hard requirement, we publish for a foreign audience)
• Comfortable with Google Workspace, ClickUp or similar, Canva
• Based in Metro Manila or able to travel there
• Reliable internet (25 Mbps+) and a machine that can edit video without crashing
• Self-managing. I will give you the goal, not the steps.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with WordPress admin
• Experience pitching brands or handling partnerships
• Photography or on-camera comfort
• Knows the Manila nightlife scene
