ABOUT THE ROLE
Dymond Speech & Rehab is a growing pediatric therapy company providing speech, occupational, and physical therapy services.
We are looking for an experienced Instructional Designer / Learning & Development Specialist to help us build scalable employee training across our organization.
This is not a general VA or administrative role. We are looking for someone with professional experience designing employee training, onboarding, or eLearning programs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will work with our managers and subject-matter experts to understand how our company operates and turn that knowledge into clear, effective training.
Responsibilities include:
-Interview managers and subject-matter experts to understand processes and workflows
-Build role-specific onboarding and training programs
-Turn SOPs and processes into easy-to-understand training modules
-Develop written lessons, videos, screen recordings, quizzes, scenarios, and competency assessments
-Organize and improve our Trainual LMS
-Build standardized training templates and systems
-Identify gaps in existing training
-Update training as company processes change
-Help measure whether employees actually understand and apply what they learn
Training may cover roles such as therapists, schedulers, front office staff, lead therapists, and managers.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You should have professional experience in one or more of the following:
-Instructional design
-Learning & Development
-Corporate training
-eLearning development
-Employee onboarding or enablement
Strong candidates will have experience with:
-Adult learning principles
-LMS platforms
-Interviewing subject-matter experts
-Creating courses and learning paths
-Writing clear instructional content
-Quizzes and assessments
-Scenario-based learning
-Screen recording and basic video editing
-Process documentation
Experience with Trainual, Articulate Rise/Storyline, TalentLMS, Docebo, Loom, Canva, or similar tools is helpful.
Healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
Most importantly, you should be comfortable taking information that currently exists inside someone's head, in an SOP, or within a workflow and turning it into a training program another employee can successfully follow.

You will help us create a training system that:
-Makes onboarding more consistent
-Reduces reliance on managers verbally teaching everything
-Clearly defines what employees need to know and demonstrate
-Allows us to maintain consistent standards as we grow and open additional locations
