Australian Chocolate & Confectionery Brand | 20 Hours Per Week | Potential to Grow Full-Time

About Us

Charlotte Piper is a growing Australian-owned chocolate and confectionery brand based in regional Victoria, Australia.

We manufacture handmade chocolates, fudge and confectionery and supply customers throughout Australia and New Zealand through our website, wholesale customers, distributors and online wholesale platforms.

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and proactive person to join our team remotely and help manage and grow the online side of our business.

This is not simply a data-entry or “wait to be told what to do” position.

We want someone who will take the time to understand Charlotte Piper, learn our products and brand, follow our guidelines and think outside the square. We value someone who notices opportunities, suggests improvements and brings new ideas to the table.

What You'll Be Doing

Your role will include:

Managing and updating our e-commerce website, including products, pricing, images, descriptions, collections and promotional content.
Assisting with our planned transition from our current website platform to Shopify, so good Shopify knowledge and experience is important.
Managing and updating our wholesale platforms, including Ordermentum, Faire and other B2B platforms.
Ensuring pricing, product information, descriptions and images are accurate and consistent across all platforms.
Creating and scheduling content for Facebook and Instagram in keeping with our brand.
Creating email newsletters and promotional campaigns.
Helping plan promotions for new products, seasonal ranges and key Australian retail occasions.
Keeping our website fresh, current and appealing.
Helping improve the way our products are presented and promoted online.
Looking for opportunities to increase engagement, online sales and wholesale sales.
Coming to us with new ideas and suggestions, rather than always waiting for instructions.
Following our brand guidelines and maintaining a consistent Charlotte Piper look, feel and tone of voice.
Assisting with other online, marketing and administrative tasks as required.
The Person We're Looking For

A major requirement for this position is a strong understanding of the Australian market and Australian communication style.

Previous experience working remotely for an Australian business or Australian brand is highly preferred.

You must have excellent written English and understand how Australians naturally communicate and word things. Our social media posts, newsletters, website copy and customer-facing content need to sound natural to an Australian audience — not overly formal, generic or obviously AI-generated.

Product uploading and online merchandising
Basic image editing and content creation
Australian retail, food, confectionery, giftware or FMCG businesses

You don't need to have used every platform listed above. We would rather find someone with strong e-commerce and digital skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.

Hours & Availability

This position will initially be approximately 20 hours per week.

For the right person, once we have seen the quality of your work, reliability, initiative and how well you fit with our business, there is the opportunity for the position to develop into a full-time role.

You must be able to work agreed hours that overlap with our normal working day in Victoria, Australia (AEST/AEDT). We need someone who is available when our team is working rather than completing all work outside Australian business hours.
