Operations Lead for Technician Company

Philippine Technical Labor & Infrastructure Group — Telecom, Power, Logistics

Location: Primarily WFH. Must be able to temporarily relocate to different office sites when required. Comfortable staying in shared team accommodations when deployed to other cities/provinces for work.

Role Purpose:
A ground-floor operations hire with a defined path into senior leadership as the company expands its footprint across technical labor and infrastructure support. High performers will be considered for regional leadership. Starts as an all-purpose operations right hand to Rize, growing into full ownership of field team coordination, client relationships, and eventually broader operational leadership.

Core Traits Required:

• Competent and sharp — able to take an ambiguous task and resolve it without hand-holding
• Direct and to-the-point communicator, but genuinely people-oriented — trusted by both leadership and field/technician teams
• Ambitious, early-career, hungry for real responsibility and growth — not looking for a stable lateral role
• Resourceful (madiskarte) — comfortable figuring things out with incomplete information
• Some technical/mechanical familiarity is a plus (electrical, telecom, or infrastructure exposure) but not required — this is an operations and coordination role, not a technical/engineering one

Core Responsibilities (expanding in phases):

• Phase 1: Direct operational support to Rize — coordination, scheduling, tracking, research, follow-through on whatever is delegated
• Phase 2: Field/technician team coordination, client-facing relationship and SLA management, escalation ownership, vendor/PO/BOQ follow-through
• Phase 3 (growth track): Potential regional or country-level operational leadership as the company scales across verticals

Explicitly excluded: bookkeeping/accounting — owned by a separate finance function once one exists

Minimum Qualifications:

• No specific degree required — prioritize competence and trainability over credentials
• Basic comfort with Odoo or similar business CRM/ERP
• Willing to be flexible wherever in the country they are deployed, and comfortable with shared team accommodations when deployed elsewhere

What Success Looks Like in 90 Days:

• Rize can hand them ambiguous, high-trust tasks and they get resolved cleanly
• Demonstrated directness — surfaces problems early, doesn't sit on bad news
• Shows readiness to take on expanding scope as the role and company grow
