FOIA Researcher — YouTube Police Bodycam / True Crime

FOIA RESEARCHER — POLICE BODYCAM / TRUE CRIME

You MUST show channels you’ve worked with, cases you’ve researched, records/footage you obtained, and real results.

We need someone who can independently FIND cases and build complete case packages.

REQUIRED

• Multi-state FOIA/public-records experience
• Bodycam, dashcam, interrogation & surveillance footage
• 911 calls, dispatch, CAD logs & police reports
• Court records, case files, transcripts & legal documents
• Jail/prison records when available
• Civilian footage
• Business/public-agency surveillance
• News footage & local media archives
• Public interviews/statements
• Ability to identify every agency involved
• Ability to appeal denied/redacted requests
• Strong copyright/usage awareness
• Find older, under-covered cases NOT saturated on YouTube — MUST HAVE
• Independently discover compelling cases
• Strong organization/database skills

COMPLETE CASE

You handle everything from discovery to delivery:

Case → FOIA/public records → footage → documents → timeline → organized research package.

Include everything available: bodycam, 911/dispatch, CAD, reports, interrogations, court records, surveillance, civilian footage, news, interviews, and supporting evidence.

Track everything in a spreadsheet: obtained, pending, unavailable, requested, links/files, and notes.

EXCLUSIVE CASES — MUST HAVE

Cases you provide are exclusive to our project.

Do NOT give the same cases to other clients or channels.

PAYMENT

Paid per completed case package.

NOT hourly. NOT per FOIA request. NOT per record.
