Short-Form Video Editor for Dental & Healthcare Social Media

I produce social media content for dental and orthodontic practices. I film on-site, then the footage needs to be turned into short-form video for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook . I'm looking for an editor to take that editing off my plate so I can stay behind the camera.

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING

• Editing vertical short-form videos (15-60 seconds) from footage I shoot
• Building strong hooks in the first 2 seconds - this is the most important part of the job
• Burned-in captions that are accurate and easy to read
• Trend-aware pacing, tasteful text overlays, and music that fits a healthcare brand
• Occasional longer edits: patient testimonials, practice tours
• Delivering in the correct aspect ratio and specs for each platform

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU

• Proven short-form editing experience - send examples that actually performed
• CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• A feel for healthcare and professional brand tone. This is a dental practice, not a meme page. Clean and warm, not chaotic.
• Accurate captions, including dental and orthodontic terminology spelled correctly
• Consistent turnaround. The volume is steady and I need predictability more than raw speed.
• Stable internet for large file transfers (Google Drive / ---------- )

HOURS AND PAY
$5/hour, part-time, around 20 hours per week to start. Hours can grow with volume for the right person.

Shortlisted applicants will be given a small paid test edit ($5) using real footage from a current client project, with a set deadline. Reference clips are provided at the test stage so you can see the look and feel I'm going for. That way we both find out quickly whether your style fits the work. I pay for your time either way.

I expect to bring on more than one editor from this posting, so a strong application is worth sending even if you think the role is already filled.
